Tupper Lake residents turn out to learn about ROOST’s marketing efforts

13 Dec Tupper Lake residents turn out to learn about ROOST’s marketing efforts

December 13, 2017

Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST) representatives provided a destination marketing program status report to Tupper Lake and Piercefield residents and officials last Thursday evening, Dec. 7 at Big Tupper Brewing in Tupper Lake. The event provided a networking opportunity, and a chance for audience members to ask questions about ROOST’s scope of work and marketing strategies. It was also a great chance to reacquaint business owners and other officials with their regional marketing manager, Katie Stuart.

The presentation included a snapshot of marketing results for the year 2017, and a profile of the visitors to the region. ROOST manages paid and earned marketing campaigns, destination website development (TupperLake.com), social media accounts, content development, communications, special projects, and creates and maintains a video and photo database.
