Public meeting tonight for proposed replacement of Route 9N bridge in AuSable Forks
The New York State Department of Transportation will host a public hearing and information meeting on tonight to discuss the proposed replacement of the Route 9N Bridge over the West Branch of the Ausable River in AuSable Forks. The bridge connects the town of Jay, Essex County and the town of Black Brook, Clinton County. The meeting is scheduled for the Town of Jay Community Center on 11 School Lane in Au Sable Forks. An open house will kick off the meeting at 5:30 p.m. As part of tonight's meeting, a formal hearing and presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the project and potential right-of-way impacts. Affected property owners have been notified. A comment period will follow the presentation. Series of trainings on fundraising for nonprofits to be held in Saranac Lake
AEDC will host a series of training workshops on fundraising for nonprofits over the next five months. They will be lead by Martha Spear, a certified and licensed fundraising consultant based in Lake Placid with more than 27 years of experience in nonprofit development. Workshops run from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at the AEDC offices at 67 Main Street, Suite #300 in Saranac Lake.
