06 Nov Lake Placid contingent attends World Union of Olympic Cities Summit

 

Mayor Craig Randall and ROOST CEO James McKenna are in Lausanne, Switzerland this week at the World Union of Olympic Cities (WUOC) Summit. The annual Summit is an opportunity for Olympic host cities throughout the world to share information and resources with other host cities, and the Lake Placid contingent has participated for 7 years.

Mayor Randall sits on the Executive Committee of the WUOC, and at this year’s summit, McKenna conducted a presentation about the history of Lake Placid winter sports and the ongoing legacy of hosting two Olympic Winter games.
