Our office hosts, maintains and adds content to the site to provide potential visitors with information designed to help them take a trip to the area. Additionally, we run paid campaigns to attract visitors.
Additionally, the site generated 274,820 pageviews to our audience of prospective visitors. Through all our marketing initiatives, we are continually striving to increase site traffic and potential visitors to the region.
The Town of Schroon Lake was included in the Destination Master Planning process that began in 2007.
The process resulted in a plan that seeks to increase jobs and business opportunities, generate year-round revenue, and increase the quality of life in Schroon Lake by recapturing its status as an Adirondack Lakeside Destination, becoming a base camp for Adirondack adventures, and expanding its set of visitor products and experiences.
Work conducted in the Schroon Lake Region is supported by the Occupancy Tax collected by area lodging properties.
