Each year, the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism prints the Lake Placid Travel Guide as a resource for visitors. Ad space requests are accepted in January of each year.

The Whiteface Region Guide is a map-forward publication outlining recreation opportunities, attractions, and amenities in the region's four communities: Au Sable Forks, Jay, Upper Jay, and Wilmington.

In 2026, the Whiteface Region Guide transitioned to an updated format that does not include advertisement space. Rather, it includes a directory for visitor-facing businesses. Inclusion in the directory is complimentary, and listings will be updated at the time of each new printing (2–3 years).

The 2026 Whiteface Region Guide is currently in production, with printing of 10,000–15,000 copies planned for mid-spring.

A Town of Jay map featuring visitor-facing business locations has been developed in partnership with Green Goat Maps, the Town of Jay, and the Au Sable River Valley Business Association. The map was original created for a roadside kiosk and has since been re-formatted for digital use and individual printing.

The most recent iteration of the map was completed in early 2026.
