As part of our efforts to promote sustainable tourism, Adirondack adventures, and the unique regions we cover, ROOST regularly conducts photo and video shoots across the Adirondacks. These shoots highlight a variety of activities and locations that showcase what the region has to offer. We are always looking for people to participate as models in these shoots, and participants are compensated for their time.
About ROOST
As an organization, ROOST is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion across all areas of our work, including our marketing efforts. We strive to represent the wide range of people who visit the Adirondacks and call the region home. We want all voices to be heard and encourage diverse writers to submit pitches.
Compensation
Models over the age of 16 are compensated at $25 per hour, with a full-day rate of $150 for shoots lasting five hours or more. Models under 16, with guardian consent, are compensated at $10 per hour, with a full-day rate of $75 for shoots of five hours or more. Reimbursement for travel or other expenses may be considered as part of the media shoot planning process.
