Who manages the app?

The Adirondack Rail Trail App is managed by the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST), the destination marketing and management organization serving communities throughout the Adirondacks.

The app was funded through an I LOVE NY Economic Development Administration (EDA) grant, which made it possible for ROOST to partner with local technology company UpNCoding to develop the platform. The app was created in collaboration with communities along the trail corridor and the Adirondack Rail Trail Association (ARTA) to address visitor needs and improve the overall trail experience.
