Tim Lamay, Malone Regional Marketing ManagerMalone, N.Y. —The Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism (ROOST) is pleased to announce the addition of Tim Lamay as Malone Regional Marketing Manager.  

In his new role, Lamay will serve as a liaison between community stakeholders, travelers and ROOST, and support the implementation of marketing strategies for northern Franklin County.

Lamay, a lifelong resident of Malone, has strong ties to to the region and an in-depth knowledge of the destination’s assets with respect to tourism. He attended both North Country Community College and SUNY Canton. 

“I love Malone and I want to see it succeed,” said Lamay. “This community has provided me with wonderful opportunities throughout my life. I’m looking forward to giving back and supporting both destination development and marketing efforts as a member of the ROOST team.”

ROOST is the accredited destination marketing organization (DMO) responsible for promoting Essex, Hamilton and Franklin counties in the Adirondacks of New York. The Malone Regional Marketing Manager will work from an office based in Malone, with support from regional ROOST offices including Franklin County locations in Tupper Lake and Saranac Lake.
